Urban Railway Train Monitoring

Publish Time: 2025-08-22

With the increasing popularity of the concept of three-dimensional transportation, the railway system is playing an increasingly important role in urban transportation and will undoubtedly become a crucial component of future transportation. This fully digital video surveillance system has been developed to address the internal security issues of intercity/urban trains.

The system utilizes a fully digital + LAN architecture, making it ideally suited for intercity/urban rail trains, which feature relatively independent monitoring, limited equipment installation space, and adjustable carriage numbers based on actual needs.

Fully digital + LAN architecture. This system utilizes a network camera + computer solution. Compared to fully analog or hybrid analog/digital monitoring solutions, this solution offers a truly "plug-and-play" experience, making it incredibly easy to use. Each train forms a LAN system, ensuring real-time image transmission and high-quality video.

High cost-effectiveness. The system utilizes digital cameras, offering a competitive price point, while the LAN's broadband transmission ensures image quality. In addition to the monitoring, recording, and callback functions of conventional surveillance systems, it also provides multi-screen/single-screen switching and various search methods.

Easy operation. The system's hardware is easy to install, and the software is simple to learn. To add or remove carriages, simply disconnect the network cables from the corresponding carriage cameras and adjust the software settings.

Excellent scalability. The system interface utilizes industry standards, allowing future expansion by simply adding or removing network cameras without requiring any other software or device adjustments, facilitating system expansion.

At each arrival, a train can transmit images from its own station to the control room via WLAN. Upon arrival at the final station, images from all other stations along the way can be transmitted to the final station.
